The new programme of the Catalan Health Department will increase surgeries in a 20% since the end of the year to decrease the wating time, and 623 surgeries more than in 2013 will be performed.
This way, the Catalan Health Department with the Catalan Society of Cardiology, foresee to reduce the cardiology surgery waiting time a 35%. Watch this piece of news in which Dr. Bayes-Genis explains it (Video in Catalan).

The XXVI Congress of the Catalan Society of Cardiology was held last 29th and 30th of May. iCor was present with 25 oral communications and 9 talks.
